UM ESTUDO EM UM CENTRO DE ATENÇÃO PSICOSSOCIAL NA CIDADE DE SALVADOR/BA.

Abstract

The context of this study is located in the use of the PROMODEL Simulation software, to analyze the operational capacity of care in a psychosocial care center, in the city of Salvador / BA. The research question that involved the work was to verify the possibility of optimizing the screening process, called reception, which occurs at the initial moment or when patients seeking this service at a Psychosocial Care Center - CAPS arrive, using software of simulation? The main objective of this study is to analyze the reception process in a CAPS, proceeding with the virtualization of this process through PROMODEL simulation software, aiming to propose optimization alternatives. The research has an exploratory nature, according to Pádua (2016), which is widely used to give greater knowledge or clarity to phenomena still little known or studied. The case study methodology based on Yin (2005) was used, which can be guided by induction, based on a specific case for possible generalizations. As a method, the following steps were established based on an operational research study according to TAHA (1998) and WAGNER (1986). In the results obtained with the application, it was possible to generate important data for the decision-making process, with the objective of optimizing the process of welcoming the unit based on innovative ideologies, but taking into account the current situation of the unit and the importance in maintaining the quality of the service provided respecting its particularities. 5 possible scenarios were generated with which the Center's Administration will be able to work its processes in a more technical way.
